With growing competition and today&#8217;s VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) environment, Design Thinking has become a source of inspiration in the pursuit of innovation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Thinking<\/strong> is an <strong>iterative process<\/strong> based on arriving at a solution that includes involvement of all stakeholders, understanding user issues, defining the problem, challenging assumptions, and testing solutions. It is a way of thinking and working, as well as a collection of hands-on methods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Thinking<\/strong> led Innovation can encourage people to seek knowledge to come up with optimal solutions to a problem. It\u2019s more of a doing activity i.e. let\u2019s carry out exercises pertaining to different stages of design thinking \u2013 generate and learn from the doing experiences. <strong>Design Thinking works at all the 3 levels:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>Skills<\/strong> i.e. using a structured step by step approach, following specific stages, using tools &amp; techniques for each stag<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Thinking<\/strong> i.e. both creative (lateral, divergent, abductive) and critical (inductive, deductive) thinking. We understand their expectations in relation to the product\/ service, challenges and pain-points they face within this context.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Observation<\/strong>: In this stage, we observe and engage with real users, see how they interact with an existing product.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Empathy<\/strong> : As part of this phase one discards his own presumptions in favour of gaining understanding of end users and their requirements. The purpose of the stage is to gather as many experiences, insights, and observations as you can.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Problem Define<\/strong>: Here, we create an actionable design problem statement by implementing methods to synthesize raw data. The problem statement&#8217;s objectives are to identify the key problems and to produce feasible solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideation<\/strong>: This stage is all about unleashing creativity on intelligence.
